1961: first case of motion sickness in space reported (shortly after, dramamine invented)
1962: jamaica becomes independent after 300 years of british rule (yah, mon)
1964: prometheus, a bristlecone pine and the world's oldest tree, is cut down (timbeeeeer)
1996: nasa announces that life may exist on mars (we come in pieces)
